The smallest aspect of the painting must have life;
the butterfly's antenna must pulse, each vein of a leaf must depict the surge of growth. The viewer must feel the strength of the mountain, the sharpness of the pine needle, the depth of the river and its vital force.

All this is transmitted from the artist's heart and soul, through the brush that has been dipped into ink and then onto the paper...
